CHIANTI-Related Sites
-
is an STFC-funded network
for the calculation of a vast amount of atomic data for astrophysics.
It extends the mission of the UK RmaX Network and the Iron Project.
-
The Iron Project seeks to provide new atomic data
for all of the iron ions. Most of these data are included in
CHIANTI.
-
The data from the Iron project and the earlier Opacity Project are
available from this database.
- - Virtual Atomic and Molecular Data Centre -
is an EU-funded e-infrastructure project to make available a vast amount of atomic and
molecular data for astrophysics, atmospheric physics, fusion,
environmental sciences and industrial applications
from a variety of sources, including CHIANTI
(H. Mason and G. Del Zanna).
- Virtual Observatory Tools and Atomic Data for Astrophysics -
was a project (G. Del Zanna) aiming at providing accurate basic atomic
data, derived products, and tools for astrophysical applications.
A large dataset of CHIANTI atomic
data and derived products such as line emissivities were made available
to VO-enabled tools (such as VOSPEC) through AstroGrid.
-
The National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST) compiles energy levels, wavelengths and transition probabilities
for many astrophysically relevant ions. For many of the ions in the
CHIANTI database, energy level data has been taken from here.
-
The CHIANTI database, programs and documentation
can be found within SolarSoft, a programming and data analysis environment
for the solar physics community.
-
A Package for Interactive Analysis of Line Emission written in IDL.
- compiled at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
-
A comprehensive line list compiled by Dr. R.L. Kelly.
